Teterboro, NJ – On July 16, 2001, a team of Meridian employees and their guests helped to support the Bergen County United Way by running in the 14th Annual Teterboro 5K Airport Run in Bergen County, NJ. Meridian proudly placed second in the category of “Co-ed Teterboro Tenant”, led by Steve Chandoha, Daniel Rawsen, and Kaitlyn McGowan. The 5K run attracted over 800 runners and was held on one of the two airport runways. The course is certified and the race sanctioned by the USA Track & Field and is a Grand Prix Series Race. The event benefits NJ 2-1-1, which is United Way’s statewide, free 24-hour information and referral service that connects people with social services and community programs that can help with everyday health and human service needs.
