The Meridian Team stands poised to make the most of the NBAA San Jose Regional.

On Thursday, September 6, Meridian sent eight associates, along with a 10′ x 10′ display to the NBAA San Jose Regional Forum, which hosted over 1,800 attendees, 176 exhibitors, and 15 static aircraft displays.
NBAA President and CEO, Ed Bolen spoke on his thoughts on the industry: “The future of business aviation looks bright, and technologies on the horizon make this an exciting time to be in the industry, but only if we meet challenges head-on and work together to make a difference.”
To further address the theme of the forum, author Jeff Butler presented data and case studies to help address issues that multi-generational companies may face, driving the theme of the forum home: making the business aviation industry more attractive to younger professionals and travelers.
Overall, the event was extremely positive. NBAA’s Vice President of Operational Excellence, Mike Nichols, stated that “The mood was extremely positive, there were a lot of buyers here and prospects that were new to the exhibitors.”
“People have been talking about how the business aviation market has greatly improved in the last couple of months, and they are appreciative of the opportunity to get business done here this week.”
Meridian used the forum as an opportunity to launch our CAA Campaign for our Hayward FBO. Carlos Rodriguez, Meridian HWD’s General Manager stated that “there really isn’t a better time or place to introduce this campaign. San Jose is a short drive from Hayward, and this is the audience we’re trying to reach.”
These events serve as a great barometer for the industry, and allow for everyone here to get a glimpse into where we’re headed in the future. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for BACE, next month!
