Meridian Celebrates Retirement of Joe Corrado

On Wednesday, March 27, Meridian celebrated the storied and accomplished career of Joe Corrado, the Crew Chief and Base Manager of N601AD, a 1994 Bombardier Challenger 601.  This aircraft has the distinct honor of being Meridian Air Charter’s most frequently chartered aircraft.  Here are some of the record-breaking statistics:

  • Hours Flown: 6,375

Joe started his career with Meridian in March 2009 and has played a major role in the upkeep and maintenance of this aircraft.  His efforts and long hours allowed this Challenger 601 to fly for 6,375 hours, carrying 12,762 passengers for almost 3,000,000 miles!  Meridian celebrated at a local restaurant and had a few parting gifts for Joe, including a plaque with the milestones, and a framed picture of the aircraft.  We thank him for his many years of exceptional devotion and expertise and wish him well in his retirement.

Meridian Air Charter Adds White Plains Based Challenger 601 to Fleet of Charter Aircraft

 

TETERBORO NJ, March 12, 2009Meridian Air Charter, a private aviation services company, expanded their charter fleet aircraft with recent addition of a Challenger 601 aircraft.  The Challenger 601 is large sized jet that is equipped with amenities of comfort and productivity.

The interior, monochromatic color scheme is comprised of beige stippled carpeting, cream walls and an ecru and tan jacquard sofa. Golden oak woodwork is a natural compliment to the cabin’s décor.  Travel with ease with the Challenger’s berthable seats and a private lavatory including a sink. The in flight service staff can accommodate passengers with the most lavish of dining needs in the fully equipped galley. Travel time may be spent productively with data ports and an in-flight phone with fax and data capability, or relaxingly by lounging in the leather seats to enjoy monitoring the flight with Airshow® or enjoy the entertainment system that includes a DVD-CD player the main cabin.
