Teterboro, NJ, August 20, 2012 – Meridian, the full-service private aviation company based at Teterboro Airport, is pleased to announce the appointment of Betsy Wines as FBO Advisor to the Corporate Aircraft Association (CAA) Advisory Board. Ms. Wines, Vice-President of Customer Service & Human Resources at Meridian, was selected by CAA because of her extensive experience in FBO customer service, as well as her never-ending passion for corporate aviation. She brings a unique perspective to her new role as an FBO Advisor.
Ms. Wines, who is a native of Vermont, moved to New Jersey to earn a bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University. Since her college days, Betsy’s aviation career has been spent entirely with Meridian. In 1985, she began as a flight school dispatcher, when the company was called General Aviation. In 1986, General Aviation joined the Million Air network. The following year, she became a Customer Service Manager at the company’s FBO, known then as Million Air Teterboro. In 2002, Betsy was promoted to her current position as Vice-President of Customer Service & Human Resources. Over the years, Betsy has earned numerous service awards, including being voted #1 CSR fourteen times by the Professional Pilot PRASE Survey.
Steve Chandoha, Meridian Teterboro President, had this to say, “As most of you know, CAA is a group of almost 1,200 flight departments whose objective is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiencies of these corporate flight departments and member FBOs – through fair pricing and superior service. For the past 16 years, CAA members have been loyal customers of Meridian Teterboro. I am sure with Betsy’s appointment as a CAA FBO Advisor, we will continue to grow the partnership – adding real value to CAA operators and the Meridian brand.”
