Teterboro, NJ – On a balmy evening in late May, as the sun was setting over the New York City skyline, two rival teams met once again to see which would prevail in a competitive game of softball on the manicured fields of Kennedy Park in Lodi, NJ.
Making the commute from the Apollo Jets office in New York City, the experienced Apollo team was well-represented wearing their traditional black shirts. Unfortunately, the long commute for Apollo did not end with victory, as the Meridian Team, led by Captain Andrew Ladouceur, had heavier bats in the late innings to pull ahead to win the game.
All was not lost for Apollo, however, as Cyrus Rasnavad belted a fence-clearing homer and pitcher Ari Rothbeind stymied Meridian bats for much of the game. Game MVP was awarded to Andrea Politis, for her outstanding defensive work on the infield. Andrea is a Customer Service Representative at Meridian Teterboro, the company’s FBO.
