White Plains, NY – On June 8, 2011, Meridian Teterboro was well-represented at the NBAA Regional Forum held at the Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, NY. The private jet company, located at Teterboro Airport, NJ (TEB) had eight of its associates working the exhibition booth and represented all of its services, including FBO, Charter Sales, Aircraft Management, and Jet Center.
Meridian had a particularly special day, because its FBO had been chosen as a winner of the 2011 Pilots’ Choice Award, presented by FltPlan.com. The Pilots’ Choice Award is a survey among pilots who choose their favorite FBOs among five different categories. With over 7,480 votes cast, the pilots have chosen Meridian as the #1 FBO in the category of Top U.S. FBOs for 2011. Betsy Wines, VP Customer Service, was there to receive the award on behalf of the company.
Despite an intense heatwave engulfing the Northeastern US on Wednesday, the one-day event drew thousands of people together from the aviation community where both exhibitors and attendees came together to discuss business opportunities as well as challenges facing our industry today.
