Meridian Teterboro Honored Among Best FBOs

Meridian, the award-winning private aviation company, is pleased to announce that it has again received recognition as one of the nation’s top FBOs in the industry’s leading surveys. The company’s Fixed Base Operator (FBO) in Teterboro (TEB) was voted in the top 5% of all US FBOs, as well as the #1 FBO in the Northeast and at TEB, by readers of Aviation International News (AIN) in its annual FBO survey. For the second year in a row, Meridian was the airport’s only FBO to rank in the top 5% of the AIN survey. The rankings are a result of customer feedback on facilities, passenger amenities, pilot amenities, line service and customer service representatives (CSRs), which are averaged to reach the FBOs’ final scores.
Meridian was also recognized as a top FBO by Professional Pilot’s (ProPilot) annual PRASE Survey. In addition to being rated one of the best independent FBOs in the country, the PRASE Survey ranked Meridian as the #1 FBO at TEB, the NYC Metro area and the Northeast. The survey once again recognized two of Meridian’s CSRs as among the best in the nation. For the 14th year in a row, Betsy Wines and Victor Seda have both been ranked in the top 5 for their “can-do attitude” and their strong commitment to excellence. Meridian is also proud to acknowledge that Betsy has been the #1 CSR in the PRASE Survey 19 times. AIN also quoted Betsy in a feature called Advice from CSR All Stars for her view on what makes a good customer service representative.

2016 FBO Surveys Rank Meridian #1 in Northeast

Meridian, the award-winning private aviation company based at Teterboro Airport, is pleased to announce that its FBO, Meridian Teterboro, has been voted the top FBO in the Northeast by Aviation International News (AIN) and FltPlan.com in 2016. Additionally, Meridian was voted the best FBO at Teterboro Airport in the Professional Pilot (ProPilot) PRASE Survey. All three of these industry surveys are well-respected and the entire staff is honored to be recognized for its exceptional service.
Meridian was voted in the top 10% of all US FBOs in the AIN survey, while ProPilot readers ranked Meridian as the 14th best US FBO. Pilots’ Choice Awards by FltPlan.com rated Meridian #3 among its Top 50 US FBOs. The AIN and ProPilot surveys also measure individual customer service, and the company is proud to say that both Betsy Wines and Victor Seda continue to be recognized for their outstanding efforts. AIN recognized Betsy Wines for going ‘Above & Beyond’, while ProPilot had both Wines and Seda ranked in the Best CSR category. The pair has been together in the Top 5 of the Best CSR category for the past 10 years.

2014 FBO Surveys Rank Meridian #1 at Teterboro

Meridian, the award-winning private aviation company based at Teterboro Airport (TEB), once again received top honors for exceptional service according to three well-respected fixed base operator (FBO) surveys.

Meridian Teterboro was voted #1 FBO in the Northeast by FltPlan.com, and was the top ranked FBO at Teterboro Airport in both the AIN and Professional Pilot surveys. In the ProPilot PRASE survey, Betsy Wines was voted #1 Best Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the 16th time, and Victor Seda earned the #5 spot. For the 8th year in a row, Meridian Teterboro has had two CSRs in the top five slots.

Meridian Ranks Among Nation’s Best in 2014 AIN FBO Survey

This week, Aviation International News (AIN) released the results of its annual FBO Survey. Once again, Meridian Teterboro has ranked among the best FBOs in the nation.

The results are currently available online at https://www.ainonline.com/fbo-results. The article will also be published in the April issue of AIN.

Some of the highlights include:

• Meridian Teterboro received a 9.0 score, which placed it in the Top 20% category and 17th overall
• Meridian CRSs received a 9.4 score and ranked 10th in the country
• Meridian Teterboro was the highest ranking FBO at TEB
• No other TEB FBO ranked in the Top 30%
• Meridian Teterboro received the highest number of evaluations received by one FBO (195)
• Teterboro Airport was ranked the #1 busiest airport for Bizav, based on number of responses (571)
• Betsy and Victor were among a short list of 13 CSRs included in the ‘Above & Beyond’ survey
• We were the only FBO in ‘Above & Beyond’ with 2 CSRs in the group and the only representative from TEB
• Betsy Wines, Victor Seda, Anthony Banome, Saqiba Parveen, Sarah Campbell, and John Baldino all received individual mentions from pilots

Meridian Ranks Among Best in FBO Surveys

Teterboro, NJ, April 9, 2012 – Meridian Teterboro, the family-owned FBO based at Teterboro Airport (TEB) near New York City, has once again been ranked among the best FBOs in the country. Recent results from two popular industry surveys, the Professional Pilot 2012 PRASE Survey, and the Aviation International News (AIN) 2012 FBO Survey, confirmed the FBO’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

The ProPilot survey ranked Meridian 12th nationally among Best US FBOs, and 7th among the Best Independent FBOs. In both categories, Meridian was ranked highest among Teterboro FBOs. In the category of Best FBO CSR, Betsy Wines returned to the #1 spot, while Victor Seda was close behind, placing #5 among Best CSRs. Meridian Teterboro was the only FBO to have two CSRs represented in this category of Top 6.

Steve Chandoha, FBO President, credits the performance of his team to the personal touch his long tenured staff brings to the table. “With the longevity of our employees, we can really get to know our customers well and customize the service packages that we offer them”.

In the AIN survey, Meridian received a rating which placed it in the Top 10% of all FBOs in the US, and first among all New York Metro Area FBOs. The rating system included categories of Line Service, Passenger Amenities, Pilot Amenities, Facilities, and an Overall rating. In addition, Meridian received 187 evaluations, the highest number of evaluations received by one FBO. According to AIN, there were 1,639 FBOs that were evaluated by at least one respondent.
